Bronco Mendenhall address at 7 p.m. MST Feb. 13 on BYU Television

The BYU Alumni Association will present Bronco Mendenhall in a live broadcast on BYU Television Friday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. MST. Mendenhall will draw on his life’s experiences to share principles designed to interest and benefit a diverse audience.

Also featured will be Vocal Point, BYU’s popular male a cappella group known for its inventive arrangements, humor, and vocal percussion.

Originating from the BYU Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center, the event will be available in English, Spanish and Portuguese and will be rebroadcast several times to accommodate a worldwide audience. "We invite BYU alumni and others who are interested to tune in to the broadcast,” says Linda M. Palmer, managing director of the BYU Alumni Association. “This event is part of the BYU Alumni Association’s goal to provide quality programming for BYU-TV that speaks to the particular interests of our alumni while also appealing to a broad range of viewers.”

I love to see the temple… but I need a microscope

In honor of BYU’s 150th anniversary, electrical engineering professor Greg Nordin and student Callum Galloway have created 150 microscopic replicas of existing LDS temples, all on a 12-by-19 millimeter microchip. Each of these unique temples — 150 different floor plans to celebrate 150 years of BYU — is less than a grain of rice in length.
