Education Week 2025 came to a close on August 22. The theme for the conference was “Inspiring Lifelong Learning to Benefit the World.”
Below is a collection of quotes from several sessions led by BYU employees as well as leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“God and Christ know us even better than we know ourselves; they know what we can become, and in the temple, they show us what we can become. They show us how to get there, and as they show us, they actually change us… the more we go there, the more we'll access that power.” — Kerry Muhlestein
"The commandments are the way that we show our love for God, but they are something that we may not understand until we understand our why — until we understand our purpose. The purpose is understanding your relationship with Jesus Christ and understanding your relationship as being a child of God." — Kristy Ludwig
“The way that we think about the future changes the way that we act in the present. And this is one of the biggest things around commitment. When we have a sense that this thing is eternal, we treat it differently.” — Scott Braithwaite
“Christ not only invited us to come to Him, but He will come meet us.” — Brad Wilcox
“Today’s youth are equipped to gather. Today’s young people of the Church are built for this. They have been prepared to gather Israel." — Elder David J. Wunderli
"Just because something doesn’t come easy, doesn’t mean it’s not a gift” — Sister Kristen M. Yee
“We should not fear man more than we fear God” — Anthony Sweat
"There are times in your life when you can see lots of light, ahead of you — when the manifestations of the Spirit are bright, and you can have a lot of faith in what's happening in front of you. But sometimes, the light ahead of you is dim. It's hard to see the light in those times. You have to rely on the light behind you — the things that have happened to you. The manifestations in the Spirit that you have had." — Samuel Payne
"We need knowledge that goes beyond our own. We need knowledge of that which we cannot find through science. We call it revelation, and that revelation helps us to understand true principles."
— Michael Goodman
