Children of Eden - Dec 1,

Location: Pardoe Theatre

Next on the BYU stage will be "Children of Eden" by Steven Schwartz playing from Nov. 13 to Dec. 5 (excluding Nov. 22-30) at the Pardoe Theatre. This musical retells the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah from the book of Genesis. The play focuses on the relationships between the Father and his children. It reveals that every family has challenges, but leaves behind a powerful legacy for future generations. There will be dress rehearsals Nov. 11-12 and a Saturday matinee Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. There will be no performances Sundays or Mondays. The First 100 Years: Collecting Art at BYU - Dec 3,

Location: Museum of Art

Beginning Dec. 3, 100 paintings, works on paper and sculpture representing some of the key pieces from the BYU Museum of Art will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the universitys art collection. The exhibition, The First 100 Years: Collecting Art at BYU, runs until Sept. 25, 2010. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Come enjoy a night by the Ancient Nile at the MPCs Egyptian Date Night.

Couples will participate in several Egyptian-themed activities (such as Pyramid, Balderdash, the Fastest Mummifier (a mummy-wrapping contest), the Matching of the Gods, and learning the craft of hieroglyphics. There will also be Egyptian-themed refreshments and prizes.
