One of my favorite Christmas traditions is selecting a new book to read to my family on Christmas Eve. This year's story is The Christmas Train, by President Monson.

Christmas Eve, a feel-good Hollywood film opening in December, features animation graduate Jon Heder and other BYU graduates, like writer/director Mitch Davis and his editor, composer and cinematographer.

The Brigham Young University Men's Chorus will share its newest release, "Savior, Redeemer of My Soul," as a free download starting December 4. 

The BYU School of Music presents the 36th annual Utah Tuba Christmas Concert in the Madsen Recital Hall on Saturday, Dec. 5, at noon. The event is free to the public.

Killers frontman Brandon Flowers went to BYU alum Jared Hess to produce a Christmas music video to go with a new Christmas song. Hess pointed him to BYU, suggesting students could create it.

A recent study by BYU professors Arden Hopkin and Christopher Dromey found that when singers are trained in vowel equalization, even for only a few minutes, they immediately produce better results.
