The three concerts will feature a little bit of everything, from competitive choral repertoire to familiar toe-tapping tunes

An evening of ensemble and combined choral performances from BYU’s premiere choirs.

“There is nothing quite like the power of music in helping us to express emotions,” BYU Singers member Elisa Thurber said. “Performing and rehearsing never fails to be a healing experience for me."

Under the direction of Jean Applonie, Women’s Chorus has prepared a night full of variety including Baroque, contemporary, popular folk and hymns. 

The Winter Choirfest is an annual event featuring all four of the BYU auditioned choirs: BYU Singers, Concert Choir, Men’s Chorus and Women’s Chorus.

The program features performances by BYU Singers, BYU Concert Choir and a special guest choir, the BYU-Idaho Collegiate Singers

The BYU School of Music presents Choir Showcase on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center.

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents the BYU Singers in “I Really Do Believe” on Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m., in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center.

The BYU School of Music’s four auditioned choirs will combine to present their first performance of the year for the annual Winter Choirfest, held in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
