Museum of Peoples and Cultures hosts date night Nov. 20

Brigham Young University’s Museum of Peoples and Cultures, located on 700 North 100 East in Provo, will host a date night where couples can learn about other cultures and traditions through ancient pottery Friday, Nov. 20, at 6 and 8 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $10 per couple and can be purchased at the Wilkinson Student Center Information Desk beginning Nov. 16.

In addition to learning about Anasazi pottery from Fourmile Ruin in the MPC’s “New Lives” exhibition, participants will see examples of pottery from other parts of the world and discover how much it can teach them about the people who made and used it.

The evening also includes “Cultural Trivia,” scavenger hunts and an opportunity for participants to make their own pottery. Refreshments will be provided.
